These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Scott & Maple website at scottandmaple.com and the Scott & Maple web app (together, the "Service"), provided by Scalero LTD ("we", "us", "our"), Levi Eshkol 100, Tel Aviv, Israel. By using the Service or buying a subscription, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Scott & Maple is a self-guided dog training app. It gives you a personalized plan of short, reward-based training lessons based on your quiz answers, and lets you log lessons, practice sessions, walks and daily wins. It includes game features such as XP, levels, streaks, skill stars and badges. "Coach Scott" and his dog "Maple" are illustrated characters, not real trainers, and the Service does not include one-to-one coaching.

2. General education, not professional advice

The Service provides general dog training education for everyday manners. It is not veterinary advice or behavioral-medicine treatment and does not replace a vet or a certified professional trainer or behaviorist. Every dog is different, and we do not guarantee any particular result. You are responsible for your dog's safety and for using the lessons sensibly. Stop any exercise that causes your dog stress or discomfort. For aggression, strong fear or anxiety, sudden changes in behavior, or any health concern, consult your vet or a qualified professional.

3. Eligibility and account

You must be at least 18 years old to buy a subscription. You are responsible for keeping your login email secure and for all activity under your account.

4. Purchases and our reseller

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns related to payments. Your purchase is also subject to Paddle's Buyer Terms.

5. Subscriptions and automatic renewal

Subscriptions are sold for a fixed period (4, 12 or 24 weeks). An introductory price applies to your first period, as shown before checkout. Unless you cancel, your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period at the renewal price shown at checkout, and you authorize the charge to your payment method. Prices may include or exclude tax depending on your location; the final price is shown before you pay. We email you a reminder 3 days before each renewal.

6. Cancellation

You can cancel anytime in one click at scottandmaple.com/cancel or from your account, through the link in your Paddle receipt, or by emailing support@scottandmaple.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep access until then.

7. Refunds

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy, including our 30-day money-back guarantee.

8. Price changes

We may change subscription prices. We will notify you before a price change applies to your next renewal, and you can cancel before it takes effect.

9. Your data

You keep ownership of the information you add, such as your dog's details, training logs and notes ("Your Data"). You give us a limited license to store and process Your Data only to provide the Service to you. We do not sell Your Data or show it to other users. You can download or delete your training log at any time from your account. See our Privacy Policy.

10. Acceptable use and intellectual property

All content in the Service, including lessons, text, illustrations, the Scott and Maple characters and software, belongs to us or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes while your subscription is active. You may not copy, resell, redistribute or reverse-engineer the Service.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is", and we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any injury, damage or loss involving your dog, you or others arising from your use of the lessons. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Termination

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms. You can stop using the Service at any time.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we will notify you by email or in the app before it takes effect.
